The silver lining on the heel is tacky, and had I noticed it before, I might not have bought them at all. But the most apparently shoddy thing about them is that one shoe has an ankle strap a full inch longer than the other. It's a size 7.5 shoe, but it's falling off of me, because the strap isn't tight... Only one ONE shoe. I ordered these for a wedding and don't have time to go through the exchange procedure, and Amazon has made it extremely difficult to make restitution for this kind of thing... There is literally NO ONE to contact. So I guess I'll be spending more money to have my $20-masquerading-as-$70 shoes repaired...
